NOMAD VENICE
Created in 2016 as an itinerant exhibition of collectible design, Nomad responds to the growing interest in design and contemporary art among collectors, cultural institutions, and many others. This project brings together the most important international galleries to create exhibitions in extraordinary architectural locations.
Conceived by Nicolas Bellavance Lecompte, after editions in Monte Carlo and St. Moritz, NOMAD made a stop this year in Venice during the 58th Art Biennale and the Venice Film Festival. Held from September 5 to 8 at Palazzo Soranzo Van Axel in Cannaregio, the event featured a focus on the ancient art of glassmaking, in partnership with the Venice Glass Week.
David Gill and Mattia Bonetti collaborated with the masters of Ongaro & Fuga to create these incredible collectible mirrors.
